Telford Mann
We're Passionate About PR!
Case Studies
The world of wealth management is hugely competitive and making your proposition stand out from the rest is key to a successful business.
We were tasked with generating press coverage and raising the profile of mid-sized financial planning and discretionary investment firm Telford Mann at a crucial time for the company.
Using the years of experience our team has gained on local, regional and national papers and websites we worked to identify stories which we knew would achieve earned editorial coverage.
Our content went on to appear across a wide range of publications, both in the traditional press and in industry specific publications serving the financial services sector.
Most firms have a gold mine of interesting stories waiting to be tapped – it just needs a degree of expertise to extract these nuggets and turn them into a valuable asset which can be used as part of a company’s PR and marketing strategy.
And this was the case with Telford Mann. We were able to produce a steady stream of press releases to feed to the relevant media, all of which were covered by at least one publication.
Sit & Sip
Launching a new bar in the highly competitive hospitality sector can be difficult.
Standing out from the rest and creating a buzz about your brand from day one is crucial to a successful launch.
We were tasked with a county-wide launch campaign by Sit & Sip to spread the word about their new bar.
We harnessed our PR expertise to secure a series of preview articles across a wide range of news websites, social media channels, radio and traditional print media in the run up to launch day.
But it wasn’t just press releases.
We persuaded the local Mayor and other dignitaries to come along on for a ribbon cutting ceremony to secure an organic media opportunity which attracted multiple journalists and photographers.
We also created a buzz on social media and tapped into the key community hubs where we knew the bar’s demographic would see the news.
So how did launch night go?
The queue of thirsty people outside the venue before the doors opened was almost embarrassingly long resulting in the bar staff having to double up as crowd control specialists!
Faron Partnership
Managing people’s money brings with it a huge responsibility and reputation is everything in the financial services sector.
This is why Faron Partnership engaged us to look after their brand and raise awareness of the services they offered through a creative campaign of traditional media, trade press and thought leadership PR.
We secured regular coverage across a wide range of publications meaning that any client researching a financial adviser to entrust their money to would be impressed by Faron Partnership’s presence both in print and online.
Using our contacts and knowledge of the media we also secured regular columns in key publications backed up by regular social media posting.
Over time our activities lead to a steady uptick in enquiries, customer sign-ups and assets under management.
It was clear that keeping the company in the public eye with a steady stream of positive coverage and authoritative thought leadership content meant people were happy to entrust Faron Partnership with their finances.
The Cockney Museum
This unique museum in Epsom needed help in attracting more visitors to its fascinating exhibition documenting the history of London’s Pearly Kings and Queens.
We used the fascinating story of the museum’s creator and curator George Major, the octogenarian Pearly King of Peckham, to shine the spotlight on this one-of-a-kind destination.
Within a matter of days of our first press release going out we’d secured coverage in multiple titles, both online and print, including national exposure in publications such as the Daily Star.
Popular daytime TV show This Morning also got in touch to arrange an interview with George where he was able to bring the museum to life in his own words.
We pleased to say the coverage will help ensure the museum’s survival and allow more people to enjoy this essential slice of history.
Sultan Restaurant and Catering Group
The Covid pandemic was devastating for many businesses, but especially so for those in the hospital sector.
And even when the country finally emerged from lockdown bars and restaurants struggled to reclaim their former customers.
Sultan was one of them. It had previously been a thriving, buzzy restaurant widely praised for its modern take on Indian cuisine and the cosy ambience of its dining room.
But it needed a boost to help return to its former glory which is why we were tasked with bringing this celebrated Berkshire restaurant back to life.
Using traditional PR and creative community engagement, the tables were soon full again and the venue was back on the map.
We created a steady stream of newsworthy articles that appeared in a wide range of titles and websites, together with county-wide radio stations.
Alongside this, we engaged broadly with local organisations, such as charities, sports club and schools to ensure that the restaurant’s brand was at the centre of their sponsorship activities.
We also initiated a scheme which offered Ukrainian refugees a free meal to welcome them to the UK which attracted widespread, regular organic coverage.
And we supported the restaurant’s catering business by forming partnerships with local suppliers such as brewers, vineyards and wedding venues.
All of these activities were reinforced with an active social media campaign rich with video and creative imagery across multiple platforms.
